Village Hall Hire

Our village hall is the perfect venue for a whole range of events, including various classes, family gatherings, meetings or even entertainment with a large stage, equipped with lighting rig, sound system, and screen with 4k projector.

Our hall includes a large 50 square metre main hall seating 45 for lunch/dinner or meetings and 60 sat down chairs only. The kitchen is equipped with oven, washing up facility, refrigeration, crockery and tea and coffee making facility. The hall also includes toilets and disabled facilities.
A fully equipped playground and picnic area is situated just behind the hall.

Prices 2024 / 2025
‍
£9 per hour for Whorlton and Westwick residents. (Proof of address required)
£12 per hour for repeat classes or entertainment open to Whorlton and Weswick residents. (minimum block of 6)
£15 per hour for all other bookings

Bookable Extras

Screen and 4k projector £15 per booking
Full use of kitchen £5 per booking (including fridge, freezer, oven, hob)

Please Note:

The hirer must provided a proof of address to benefit from our resident discount.

We kindly ask that the hall is returned in the same condition as when you entered. The chairs and tables put away, the floor should be swept and moped if required, the kitchen worktops, fridge and oven cleaned and sanitized if used. All cleaning equipment and products are provided.

Please note that a £25 fee will be added to your booking if the hall isn't returned clean after your booking.

Between the month of October and April the heating will be set to 18°C one hour before your arrival. Outside of this period, you can still set the heating to your requirements on arrival.
